For this project we are focusing on helping elementary teachers engage in new academic standards for Social Studies with an eye on how we can use inquiry to engage students and help them think like historians. I have developed content for primary levels that illustrates local and state history, developed activities that engage students in tying social studies to computer science, and am working to redevelop traditional projects to include more student choice and voice.
