I work at a bilingual international school in Japan and I see a lot of disconnect between our Japanese teachers and international teachers and their usage of google in and outside the classroom. We integrated Google for Education and it is now present in almost every area of the school but the teacher's knowledge of the system varies. In particular, many Japanese teachers are reluctant to use the system outside of basic tools. Sometimes this hesitation is passed onto the students which inhibits their learning.
