My school has a high turnover of teachers and many of the teachers have set up buffers that keep them from collaborating. in Malaysia, I personally went 729 days in my journey from the first lockdown until the first day when I had one class that was not either fully online or hybrid. Because teachers spent so much time online, they are apprehensive about adding technology to their lessons. Some of our new protocols added over the past few years also require more screen time. This includes additional documentation, the adoption of Google Shared Drives, and mandated participation in some online training platforms. I have seen a drop in the number of teachers coming to my volunteer technology professional development sessions.
