Challenge
Along with the development of digitalization and technology, learning in schools requires students, parents and teachers to be able to adapt to the rapid development of technology, one example is the use of digital devices which were previously an unusual activity for children at an early age and elementary school, but then this becomes a necessity in the context of digital transformation in all fields. We all realize that devices are the door so that we can enter the digital world, but in reality not all students have the same infrastructure and knowledge of digital literacy, children who live in urban areas with good infrastructure are not always have qualified digital literacy skills. The problem that we often face at school is the limited means of equipment owned by the school so that the students' habits in using the device are minimal, so that students and parents still do not understand the features of digital devices. In fact, there are many things they can get from using digital devices through internet access, but because their incompetence in using digital media is an obstacle, the ability to operate devices that are minimal makes students reluctant to try and gain experience. In addition, there is a very lack of learning resources for early childhood and elementary schools, we only find a lot of content for children at a higher age, so that children have difficulty understanding learning content about existing digital literacy, they are very close With gadgets, they are a level that is highly expected at the next level, they will be able to be proficient in operating digital devices. So my challenge is to find the right way to instill knowledge of digital literacy skills in early childhood and elementary schools.
