Watching students zone out in the middle of the lesson is bad. But what's worse not being able to see the students in your proximity, having no control over their presence , participation and engagement. Almost every teacher who's teaching online has faced an issue with students muting, ghosting and leaving the class abruptly. Lack of student engagement, learning motivation and active participation in online classes is a big elephant in the room that many have seemed to live with. But with growing demand of homeschooling and online schooling, how do we tackle this issue and increase intrinsic motivation in children to be more interactive. What strategies and tools would help educators make their classrooms enlightening and lively?
